Hi,

Your wife along with your two sons should take treatment for tuberculosis the duration of which may last between 6 to 9 months depending upon the their clinical conditions as their treating doctor would decide. Since she is a working women she has to take treatment regularly with proper bed rest and a nutritious diet along with your sons. Her treating doctor would recommend a sick leave for her so that she would be eligible for her monthly salary while taking the treatment at home.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
