Suggest Treatment For Psoriasis

my husband suffers from psoriasis for the past 16 years.he has tried every medicine or cream that there is but nothing.he is better only in the summer because of the sea and the sun .we ve now heard about horse milk capsules and cream.do they do any good?????

Hi .......

In psoriasis you can use petrolatum ointement for maintain skin hydration.

Topical steroids can use over lesion.
Apply a ointement twise daily and wear a loose clothes.

Vitamine d analogues limits keratinocytes proliferation.
TAR can use with corticoid steroids....

LIGHT therapy is helpful.
Natural light reduce symptomes and antiinflammatory.
Limited amount of sun light is helpful.

Systemic therapy like methotrexate can use.It is immune suppresent so symptoms are reduced.
Immuno suppressant can use under doctor's suggestion.

In short use topical emollient for hydration,sun exposure ,and take rest.
Take well balanced diet.
Consent your dermatologist.
