Suggest Treatment For Prostate Pain

I have pain that I thought was in the area of the prostate. I went to the dr. and he prescribed an antibiotic. I have been taking for 5 days but now feel the pain is more in my thigh next to the prostate. I was just wondering if this is still likely to be prostatitis?

Hello
You mentioned that you are having severe pain for 5 days and the pain is in prostate area . You didn't mention the name of antibiotics and also didn't mention other symptoms , so according to this query it is very difficult to establish any diagnosis ,whether you are having protatitis or not having .
Because acute prostatis has characteristic symptoms , so please upload all reports and required information.
Few symptoms of acute prostatitis are;
Infections seems to be blood born, feels ill, shivers, may have a rigor has aches all over especially in the back, and may be easily diagnosed as having "INFLUENZA ".
