Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Bumps On The Neck

The back of my neck has bumps, not red, but the entire area stings when touched similar to sunburn but there is no redness and there are the bumps. I am uncertain if I was stung or bitten but could have been -- it was a busy day. The area runs from the hairline to the T-shirt collar.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to allergy from some thing you exposed. Taking antihistamines like cetrizine ( zyrtec ) once daily for 5 days and applying calamine lotion locally will be helpful. If no improvement then applying corticosteroid creams like hydrocortisone will be helpful. If still not improving then consult your General Practitioner. If you send a picture of rash then it will be more helpful in identifying.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
