Suggest Treatment For Poor Memory After Head Injury

i am 56, had a bad fall on my back. knocked my heart hard. had a hit to my right temple from a bolt building a bridge some time earlier that left me searching, forget full. the blood flow seems slow to my brain, I could hear it flow slow, my heart hurt for a long time also. my head pounds, my heart hammers, once after taking a asp. I could hear the blood flow creep to my head like some one with a hand pump very slow.

Memory loss after head injury needs proper evaluation. You need to get CT Head or MRI Brain done to rule out subdural hemorrhage or extradural hemorrhage. Also memory loss can be if head injury causes damage to temporal lobe specially hippocampus. at age of 56 years, there is risk of subdural hemorrahge after even trivial injuty to head. also you should get thyroid function test, serum vitamin b12 level to detect any reversible cause of dementia (poor memory)
