Suggest Treatment For Pleural Effusion And Residual Fibrosis

hello,,my husband last yer was confine then his diagnos is pleural effusion then he takes many mdicine for 1 month,,and last week there company conduct a annual examination like xray,,it suddenly my husband have residual fibrosis what does it means.it is treatable doc?please help my problem,,God bless

If it was pleural effusion then the medicines should have been properly for 6 months for tuberculosis. However if you aren't from India then the effusion can have many other causes.
Second the residual fibrosis must be a pleural thickening that is often a result of the untreated pleural effusion. You cannot do much about that thickening unless if it is causing you some problem.
