hi, HOW are you? i am a medical student ,persuing my MBBS course now. my father had vertigo attacks several times in the last few years and he could barely move his body or move his eyes. but after having other tablets as prescribed by doctor he was normal within a day or two.he is taking Inderal for years , and now i found that propanol causes Vertigo as side effect. he is 60 years old. i just want you to give me some advice ,what to and what not to do ? should he stop taking inderal? what other options?
Your symptoms seem to be related to benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.I would recommend you to take the medication Meclizine hydrochloride (Antivert).
I also recommend to reduce salt intake in the diet.
If the symptoms continue I suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
