Suggest Treatment For Persistent Tremors In Hand

I have just had a CT scan and waiting on results - symptoms show 7 Cerebellar Tremor and I have also had this since 1976 in my head first. My very first diagnosis was given as benign muscular tremors and I just lived with the problem with great embarrassment as had been checked for MS and lately a check from my GP for hand/nose coordination and walking movement ruling out Parkinsons. I had changed doctors as my family doctor always said that it was my autonomic nervous system and as I am a very anxious person with RH thought it was part of my life. The temors started just after my father was killed in an accident 1976 and from then on it has increased in my hand as sympton above for the past few years not allowing me to sew etc. I am extremely nervous now I have read the 10 syptoms of tremors and know I should have received attention years ago. Will I have to have an operation for this as believe my GP will send me to a Neurosurgeon if the above is the case? Regards Sandra
