How Can Hand Tremors Be Treated?

My father is suffering from hand tremors. The same problem occurred last year too. He s taking antipsychotic drugs like Serenace, Quatrigress, zolcalm. I doubt they are drug induced tremors. Last 15 days we have stopped his medication but still the rapid tremors prevails. Can you suggest any treatment doc?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If there is no improvement even 15 days of stopping drugs then it is not drug induced.

He may take beta blockers as atenolol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi,
