Suggest Treatment For Persistent Night Sweats

After having a recent splenectomy due to hemolytic anemia at 22 years only I am having abdominal pains about 15 times a day. These pains cause me to black out due to the severity, i have also had a head ache for the past month that will not go away with any medications. I have reacurring night sweats bad enough to having to change the sheets. I am currently seeing a Hemotologist for the anemia however i would like to know if NHL could be the cause for all my pains. He believes that there is something wrong with my lymph nodes but isn t for sure until i get more tests done.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I agree with your hematologist. There is something going on with your lymph nodes and your blood too. So, there is a need for further diagnostic tests including:
- complete blood count
- blood electrolytes
- abdominal ultrasound and CT scan.

Take Paracetamol or Spasmex for the abdominal pain until you see your doctor. If unbearable go to ER.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
