Suggest Treatment For Persistent Heavy Vaginal Bleeding

I am 52 years old. I have always had heavy periods since I had children. last month was very light. I thought I might be starting menopause. I started bleeding again light on Aug 27th for a few days and then it was very bad and it has not stopped yet. It will be kind of light and then it starts again. it has never went this long ever. Today is Sept 23rd and I am still bleeding and I was waiting for it to stop and see my doctor but it is not stopping.

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
Such bleeding is in most cases caused by hormonal imbalance in your age and it cam be treated with progesterone medication. However, you need to repeat gynecology examination, ultrasound and check hormonal levels before it. some more serious diagnosis is rarity.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
