Suggest Treatment For Persistent Headache, Blurry Vision And Memory Issues
hello, lately for the past couple weeks ive gained an ongoing headache.. every now and then i get blurred vision and dizziness. my mother suffered from chronic headaches and later passed away from an anuerism. not sure if i should seek medical attention or not but ive also been having losts of memory issues as well
Hello and welcome to HCM, Headache associated with blurring of vision can be due to refractive error of vision or migraine. However, associated memory loss is not seen in usual causes of headache and blurring vision. Memory loss can occur due to aging called senile dementia, cognitive impairment, reduced blood supply to brain etc. A history of aneurysm in family increases the possibility of occurrence of aneurysm. However, clinical assessment and certain investigations like CT angiography of head is required to know the status of blood vessels of head. I suggest you to consult a neurologist for clinical assessment to look for the cause of headache, blurring vision and memory loss.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
