Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough With Vomiting
Good afternoon Doctor, I m concerned. My mother has been suffering from a really bad cough for the past month now. She visited her GM and was diagnosed with minor bronchitis. She was prescribed antibiotics that haven t helped at all. Now all of a sudden she s throwing up when she gets those really bad cough attacks. Any idea as to what can possibly be going on?

As cough is since long it requires evaluation of her case.
She requires some investigations like,
X-ray chest.
Complete blood checking with TC, DC, ESR, Eosinophil count.
After all reports your doctor might come to diagnosis and then treatment can be started accordingly.
Ask her to go for deep breathing exercises daily.
Ok and take care.
