Suggest Treatment For Penile Mondor’s Disease

I have a hard superficial dorsal vein about two inches down from the head of my penis a little to the left of center. It feels like a hard wire. It is painful and has been there 3-4 weeks. Is there any treatment that will get rid of this problem? What would cause this to happen?

Hi,

Prolonged or frequent sexual intercourse/masturbation can cause this issue.

Painkillers will help you with pain if you have. If it's just visual then absence from sexual activity for a few days will help you. If this option is not working out the surgical option is the only way.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
