Suggest Treatment For Paraganglioma
Dear Dr. this is Rasha from Egypt i just want to ask you something i have Paraganglioma in my back.Is there any cure for it.as i made 2 operations here in Egypt but the doctors are so confused about it and they think it may grow again and i want to know if there is a possibility for you to clarify things for me

Paraganglionoma has a variable course and recurrence are often present. Please check 24hour urine sample regularly for the HMA and VMA and metanephrines which are the secretory products and by products released from the tumour. This will tell the presence of tumour load and its relapse. Also, if possible get a PET-CT or MIBG scan done to localise the presence of active sites.
