Suggest Treatment For Painful Spot On The Upper Thigh Area

Ok so I think I pulled a muscle at work. Thing is it s in a spot hard to elevate or wrap because it s my way upper thigh/ hind quarters. I ve taken ibreprophen (sp?) and that makes it bearable but I can hard walk or move. I have no money to buy icy hot or analgesics are there any massage I can do on myself or something?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can try a warm compress to the area to see if this helps. It should be applied 2 to 3 times daily for 15 to 20 mins to see if this helps.

As much as possible, you need to rest to avoid aggravation of the injury and continue to use the ibuprofen at its maximum dose which is up to 800 mg every 6 hours.

Voltaren gel would also help as well

I hope this helps
