Suggest Treatment For Pain While Urinating

I woke up friday morning with pain when I urinate. Right at the end of my stream I feel this tug of pain that I can feel, seemingly from my urethra up. I have had the urge to go continuously and since that morning I have had blood and a slight bit of mucous when I wipe. Can a UTI come on so suddenly. I have also had chills off and on.

I understand your concern
Pain while urinating and urge to go continuously and feeling of chill suggests urinary tract infections.
I would suggest to undergo urine culture to confirm the infection by consulting the physician.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet septran DS
Tablet nitrozoilum and tablet pyridium
Syrup cital
Drink plenty of water and fruit juices of cranberry, orange and pine apple.
Always empty the bladder completely and maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
