Suggest Treatment For Pain In Wrist And Feeling Of A Sprain

Yes, my wrist (R) just began to start aching a couple of days ago and now it feels like it is sprained, although I did nothing to cause this, no falls or anything like that. There is a slight bulge that is very tender to the touch and it feels warm. The pain can be sharp if moved the wrong way but otherwise is throbbing and achy.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Wrist pain without trauma, swelling or bulge, severe throbbing pain all indicate towards infection. You may need surgery and delay can be dangerous. Do you have fever ? Consult a hand surgeon early.
