Hi,

You may take some OTC anti pain, for the time being for relief of your pain. If you are not getting the appointment of your neurologist then you are required to see your primary care physician, who can prescribe you some anti-seizure drug, if indicated for the time being. Seeing your PCP may also help you to get your appointment with the neurologist at the early possible, if required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
