Hello,
As per your symptoms, it appears as though there is some abrasion over your nipple. If there is any discharge issuing from the nipple, please note its type and see a specialist immediately for further management. Trauma from any cause including pressure from a bra, nail scratches, baby suckling, using a breast pump and so on can cause such abrasive wounds that cause burning sensation. I would ask you to get an inspection done by your health care provider to clarify. Any swelling also can thus be identified. Rest, local application of nipple creams, maintenance of personal hygiene help in the cure. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
