Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Pelvic Area

Hello I ve had pain in the pelvis area for 1.5 years. It is mild and the feeling in more like internal warmth. It has spread a bit from the groin to the pelvis. In the past year I also had 2 missed periods and some bleeding in between twice. The smear test came clear and an internal vaginal scan came clear the first time, then 6 months ago showed the presence of a fibroid. The palpation doesn t reveal any real sign of hard or swollen lymph node but it is tender. My doctor suggests chronic inflamation of the lymph nodes, which apparently is nothing to worry about and don t need any further investigation. Could there be another underlying cause, like infection? Are there other tests that could be checked? Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
