Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Groin Area

hi, i am female, 45, 16st... no helath issues... for the past few months maybe every 2 weeks i have been getting a real sharp deep pain in my groin (i think its my groin) which causes my right leg to virtually give way.. my husband thinks im joking as there is no warning for this being about to happen its just random

I understand your concern.
Actually there are multiple causes of groin pain in female, like,
Muscle pulls/inflammations, weakness of bone, problems of hip joint,Kidney, intestinal problems. Ovarian cysts etc.
Though you need investigations to rule out all above causes,
Your description of your pain being unpredictable & the pain in groin is to the extent of right leg being giving way--suggests inflammation of a bursa ( ileopsoas)around hip joint causes the pain in groin in particular movement only,so it comes randomly
Non steroidal anti inflmatory drugs ( Ibuprofen) & gentle groin streching & strengthening exercises help.
