Hello !
I read carefully your question and understand your concern.
I am sorry about your problems. You seem to have a very problematic cevical column.
In my opinion you should consult with a neurosurgeon. It is not just a matter of pain. The signal change in the cord is indicative of a cervical myelopathy, which is caused by compression from the dislocated discs and the narrow spinal canal. With the progressive narrowing of the cervical canal you will also have gait problems besides the pain and difficulty in your everyday activities. So it is important to treat the problem before aggravating.
For the pain I would recommend you to hold a cervical collar and start Gabapentine or Pregabaline which are two drugs very effective in these cases.
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings!
