Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having cervical spondylitis as you heard a sound while moving neck. It can be confirmed by x ray of cervical spine AP and lateral view. Treatment of it is Diacerine and glucosamine. Analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief is useful. Another possibility is disc prolapse. Its treatment is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
