Suggest Treatment For Pain During Intercourse

I am a 45 year old woman no children, I have had an anal abscess in the past was told I have uterine fibroids and have recently experienced pain during intercourse. Presently I have my period and I have noticed what I believe to be perianal abscess? Help D:

Perianal and anal abscess are very important causes of dyspareunia ( painful intercourse ). Other causes may be dryness of vagina which is common at this age. If dryness is the reason, you may use intimacy gels for lubrication.

For abscess in anal region, keep the area dry, avoid hot and humid environment, and take Augmentin 1G antibiotic. You may need a prescription for that. Your local physician will help you for the same.
