General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Chronic abdomen discomfort with floating stool may be related to various clinical concerns as:
- Malabsorption syndrome
- Short bowel syndrome
- Chronic ileitis
- Digestive enzyme deficiency
- Pancreatic disorders such as chronic pancreatitis
- Lactose intolerance
- Celiac disease
- Others

However, if you can provide me all details of your reports, particularly that of lab data with stool microscopy, it would be of immense help in understanding the pathophysiology of this clinical condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
