Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per your concern first, I want to know that you are diabetic or not. If you are diabetic get it controlled first if it is uncontrolled. Here are my few suggestions for you.

1. Do hot fomentation twice a day
2. Apply any topical gel
3. Do range of motion exercises of shoulder
4. Take over the counter pain killers if needed.
5. Get x-ray and MRI of your shoulder done.
6. Take physiotherapy sessions

If the pain not relieved by these you can also go for intraarticular steroid injection and diagnostic and therapeutic arthroscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jaideep Gaver, Orthopaedic Surgeon
