I have a 3 cm+ ovarian cyst on my right ovary that was described to me as a complex cyst by the doctor n that it looks/looked to have been hemorrhagic. Despite the pain itself, I ve been running a fever with it and have talked with the nurses of my doctor but they just seem to think I m looking for pain killers.... and I m not. This OBGYN did a laparoscopy and ressection on my last year and we have been considering doing that this year so I assumed she would reccommend and go ahead with the surgery. Instead I got a relatively rude reply that the dr wasn t giving me any more pain medicine and that I would just have to wait. If things got really really bad over the weekend I could go to Womens. (A specialized hospital lovcated in the area) My question is though--- should I be concerned? Should it just not be a big deal? I was rushed to the ER because I had a fever, an enlarged appendix, and a calcuclus in my kidney on the right side in addition to the golf ball sized cyst. Am I overreacting? or should I get another apoinion?
