Suggest Treatment For Oesophagitis

I have been diagnosed with Oesophogities .. and every time i eat i vomit and have very bad heartburn. it doesnt matter what i eat whether it s plain food or something else. I am 40 mg of omeprazole which i have been taking for 6 weeks. things do not seem to be getting better, in fact it s much worse. i find i am afraid to eat now because the pain is unbearable..what is my next step?

It is possible since there is no improvement with the omeprazole you may want to be tested for H pylori.

This is a bacteria that can sometimes be present and worsen symptoms. If present then a course of antibiotics would be needed.
This bacteria can be identified by a blood test.

Imaging may also be needed to see if there is an ulcer present.
