Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This happens to normal people when you sleep with your arm or leg in an awkward position that compresses the nerve of the leg or arm. Usually, the tingling or numbness sensation goes way after few minutes when you change the position of the leg or arm.

You should not be concerned unless it happens too often even during the daytime when you are not sleeping. If this is the case you should suspect for a discal hernia and see a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Edvin Selmani
