Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Knee And Leg While Having Knee Arthritis

I received a diagnosis of arthritis in my left knee which the orthopaedist is blaming for recent buckling issues that has caused me to almost fall. After undergoing 3 injections of euflexxa, my knee is better, but still not where it needs to be. I have arthritis in a couple of other joints and none of them feel like my knee. Also, when had my soon in 1988, I was given an epidural since then there has been a small strip of numbness that runs down the side of my left thigh and into the knee area. The meat above my knee is also shaped a bit different than my right knee - puffier. I believe that there is a connection between the buckling of my knee and the numbness, I think that part of the problem is actually from a weakened ligament or tendon due to the numbness in my leg. Is that logical or reasonable?

Hello,

It is a part of arthritis. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. You might require an MRI also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
