Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Tingling In Tongue During Pregnancy
Yes... my daughter is pregnant - only a few weeks - she ate at home - stir fry tofu with pineapple and her tongue is numb and tingly... any advice? I have been talking to her on the phone and it may be getting a little better, but she is very nervous about it.
The symptoms you mention in query are clearly indicating allergic reaction . In pregnancy women to get allergic to foods that they never were allergic to before and pineapple is one of theos food . There are other cause also which can cause such symptoms like Bell's Palsy , Spinal Compression , Nerve Compression . But there is nothing to panic as in your case its because of allergic reaction. It the symptoms are getting better then there is nothing to worry . If symptoms persist for longer time or get worse then consult gynecologist for proper examination . Avoid foods like kiwi fruits, pineapples, bananas and soy.
