Suggest Treatment For Nose Pain Caused By Hitting

Six days ago I banged the area above the bridge of my nose. I consulted my physician, had a pretty thorough exam, and said if I have a concussion it pretty mild. He said if there is a fracture, it would be hairline, and no treatment. The pain is pretty bad, how long will this last?

Hello,

In case of bruising or hematoma may take up to 3-4 weeks to complete clear. But in case of fracture it may take up to 6-8 weeks. You may take pain killer likes aceclofenac or diclofenac sodium twice a day for five days. Use cold and warm compression. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
