Suggest Treatment For Nausea In A Child

My granddaughter is 5. Her parents had blood tests yesterday and will be seeing her pediatrician Tuesday. I wonder if you might shed some light for us and give ideas of what to look for. Her symptoms: She woke last Sunday (6 days prior to this writing. ) with a very painful achilles, crying and unable to walk for a couple hours. This slowly got better and went away. We assumed she had slept in an awkward position. Oner the few days, parents noticed rashes which resemble bruises. She had complained of tummy aches off and on recently. For the last couple years, she has has nausea, usually assumed to be that she was car sick. Neither of the tummy issues have been severe or consistent which is why parents have not looked into it. I just thought they were worth mentioning here. She is very light skinned. When I brushed her hair recently, I thought her hair was shedding more than normal for a child. She is a very poor eater, so I suspect some sort of vitamin deficiency. All her blood tests were normal, except PTT was 63 (normal26-30), IGA and IGG are pending. what are your thoughts?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

The possibilities here are:
1. HSP due to lower limb bruising
2. Worm infestation with anemia
3. Auto immune disorder.

I do think immunodeficiency needs to be considered here.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
