Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Fatigue

I am a 25 year old female. I was diagnosed with a mitochondrial deficiency when I was 19 and told that I might not have known I had it if not for the high level of cardio I did during Irish Step. Mind you, I have always been overweight as active as I was. I am very muscular, but I also hold extra weight. Recently I have gotten much worse. My weight is climbing to the point that I needed to quit dancing and I have no ability to deal with heat and I become ill when I get hot. The heavier that I get the worse the symptoms are (dizziness, nausea, fatigue) yet it s hard to workout because of the symptoms. I have tried cutting back calories and carbs in different ways but nothing lasts because I feel too weak when I do. Really not sure what to do at this point.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the current concern sounds to be uncontrolled weight by diet measures and inability to perform exercises. In my clinic, if there is severe obesity with BMI above 35, I do recommend a bariatic surgery for weight reduction and all best results following that via metabolic panel help. If you can provide your height and weight, counting your BMI would serve best to accomplish the discussion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
