Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Diarrhea After Taking Pain Medication
I am 11 was post op from multi level cervical fusion. I was told that I should not take anti inflammatory mess or herbal mess for pain. I have been taking prescribed pain medication and muscle relaxants. For the past 2 weeks I have had nausea and diarrhea. I am not sure what to do.

After severe vomiting its possible that during the episodes he pulled a muscle and now after his dizziness is gone he started to feel the pain. Its good that you took him to the doctor. Your doctor would have done a careful physical examination and with the history, he can come to the conclusion regarding your friend’s symptoms.
I guess your doctor did advice an EKG to exclude pain related to the heart. Likely the pain is due to a pulled muscle. I would suggest you follow your doctor’s advice on pain management and make sure your friend takes adequate rest to recover fast as after a few days the pain will go away if its due to pulled muscle.

You should rule out infective enteritis as a cause for diarrhea.
For that you need to investigate with stool routine micro examination and occult blood test for primary work up.
Meanwhile, maintain hydration with lots of water.
Electrolyte powder and fruit juices are also advisable in your case.
You can revert back with reports.
Meanwhile, take lactobacilli containing probiotic as well.
