Suggest Treatment For Nasal Polyp

HI! my name is annie, and i have a nasal polyp. my doc told me that it was maybe a cancer and wants me to have a biopsy but i consult to another doctor and told me it was a nasal polyp. i was very affected resulting to a weaker immune system. it has been two years now, and i want to know if should i still consider another test for my polyp and can herbal products shrink my polyp?should thanks i do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Nasal polyp is an overgrowth of soft tissue inside the nostrils leading to formation of a globular mass that can obstruct the nasal passage leading to difficulty in breathing..
It is caused due to causes that cause chronic irritation to nasal mucosa like chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, chronic upper respiratory tract infection etc..
It is a harmless growth and is not cancerous..
You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated.
He can do a nasal endoscopy to confirm the cause so that he can help you to get relieved of symptoms..
First of all he will start your treatment for the underling cause of polyp as I have enumerated above and anti allergics, decongestants, antibiotics etc can help in resolution of the cause..
For nasal polyp he can advise you steroid nasal drops as it help in shrinkage of the polyp..
Steroid injections can be given over the polyp and it will help in shrinkage..
In case if nothing works surgical removal of polyp can be advised..
As far as herbal products are concerned complete regression of polyp is questionable..
