Suggest Treatment For Movable Lump Inside The Anus

Hi, I noticed a hard moveable lump inside my anus. It causes no pain and is about the size of a gumball. I ve had it for about a month or two and was wondering if I should be concerned? Also there s no blood in my stool and I ve had zero discomfort and regular bowel movements.

Hello Welcome to HCM, thank you for posting your query.
I read your question completely and have understood it well..
Before I begin to answer the question, can I know your age!?
Age determines the problems in that rectal and anal area.
Looking at the description you give, looks like it's a small skin tag or something. Anyway, I will tell the possible causes and treatment for the same.
1. Could be simple skin tag, usually seen after healing of anal fissure.
2. Hemorrhoids, piles they call generally. Internal piles are painless and hence explains your history.
But again, it causes bleeding.
3. Could be malignancy, rectal or anal cancer. Especially if your age is more than 60 or so.
Young, below 40 unlikely.
And cancer swelling is usually hard. But even that should bleed.

I'm not scaring you, but telling all the possibilities.
These are the most common causes in that area.
3rd one is highly unlikely though.

I suggest you few things,
1. If it's not troubling you then need not worry. You seem to be perfectly happy.
2. Age beyond 50 or so, better to get evaluated further. May be you need a biopsy.

Hope I've cleared your worry, take care and God bless you.
