Suggest Treatment For Mild Back Pain Post A Colonoscopy
I HAVE MID BACK PAIN. WHEN IT FIRST STARTED, IN OCT, I THOUGHT I HAD A UTI. I WENT TO URGENT CARE AND THEY DID A KUB AND IT SHOWED THAT I HAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF STOOL IN MY COLON. THEY TESTED MY URINE AND STATED THAT I HAD BLOOD IN MY URINE. I HAD URINE TESTED 2 DAYS LATER AT EMERGENCY ROOM AND MY URINE WAS FINE. I BOUGHT MAG CITRATE AND CLEANSED MY COLON THEN AND THEN JUST LAST WEEKEND. THE PAIN IN MY MID BACK HAD GONE AWAY BUT CAME BACK OVER THE WEEKEND. also I WAS DUE TO START MY PERIOD ON DEC 1ST BUT HAD NOT STARTED UNTIL I USED THE MAG CITRATE THIS WEEKEND AND GOT MY BOWELS CLEARED OUT. I CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE DUE TO JUST STARTING A NEW JOB, BUT IT WILL START ON JAN 1ST AND I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE A DR ON JAN 10TH AND GET A COLONOSCOPY SCHEDULED. I AM CONCERNED THAT MY PERIOD SEEMED TO HAVE BEEN DELAYED AND THEN STARTED AND WONDER WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM THERE. I WORRY ABOUT CANCER. I HAVE HAD COLONSCOPIES BEFORE AND SOMETHING WAS REMOVED. IM WORRIED ALSO THAT IT HAS GROWN BACK. IT WASN T CALLED A POLYP IT WAS A RECTAL-SYGMOID ADENOMA,OR SOEMTHING LIKE THAT I THINK.
During your previous colonoscopybiopsy was done and as you said reports stated you had rectal sigmoid adenoma. Repeat colonoscopy is advised to see the cause of complaints. Second choice of investigation is CECT. Abdomen and pelvis if you are not willing for colonoscopy. Cause of menstrual delay can be diagnosed on CECT Abdomen pelvis too. Since your bowel gases might obscured ultrasound scan. so I will advice CECT abdomen pelvis for your both complaints.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
