Hello,

Symptoms of migraine attack commonly present with headache, sweating (feeling hot and cold-perspiration), discomfort, poor concentration, need to pass more urine, vomiting etc. Patients with migraine often fail to maintain normal body temperature since the system gets affected due to dehydration, wrong diet (cheese, citrus fruits, chocolates, caffeine, alcohol, etc), exposure to strong smell, loud noises, stuffy rooms, flickering screens, etc.

You are suggested to take anti emetics so that you stop vomiting. To ease discomfort you can take Sumatriptan (Imitrex) after taking food. Naproxen (Aleve), one SOS when required also works well. Re-hydrate yourself with ORS, Electrol, soups and juices. Take home made balanced food to help your vitals get normal. Stay well fed. Stay away from migraine triggers like depression, anxiety, stressful lifestyle, certain medications like BC pills, sleeping pills.

Hormonal issues, exposure to bright sunlight, irregular mealtimes, over exertion, lack of sleep, taking oily spicy food may trigger migraine. Avoid it. Take rest, you should get fine after few hours but if you continue to experience discomfort, you should visit ER, you may need intravenous support.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
