Suggest Treatment For Migraine , Ovarian Cyst And Menorrhagia

I am 41 years old and have suffered from migraines, ovarian cysts and Menorrhagia. This last year has brought an increase in occurances and severety of migraine episodes, the hemoplegic variety. The aftermath or migraine hangovers seem to be lasting longer. Numb face, droopy eye, confused speech, forgetfulness etc... I m afraid that it s turning into more of a mini-stroke . I have also had signifigant changes in my menses. Much lighter flow and lasting only two days now, with increased clotting which will continue to pass for a few more days. My doctor told me I wouldn t be menopausal yet, but could these be related?

Migraines and menstrual disturbances may not be specifically related, but there is a common pattern of presentation in both, essentially related to the vascular system. As migraines are a disturbance of the vascular supply and pressure, proper evaluation by a neurophysician is needed to assert the proper cause and plan further mode of treatment. Ovarian cysts can alter the menstrual cycles if they are functional. As age advances, due to regressing hormones, menstrual flow can decrease. Hope this helps.
