Hello,

I don't see any indication at all that her symptoms are due to a mitral valve issue if you refer to shortness of breath that is a non-specific sign which can manifest in numerous conditions, it's not specific to mitral valve issues, may even be due to anxiety.

Since MRI was normal there is no reason to panic, at least not regarding brain issues. Blood pressure of 110/70 is not something to worry either, it is low normal, even if it's usually 90/60 it is normal to be slightly higher due to stress and to compensate dehydration from diarrhea.

If diarrhea continues then an infection must be checked through a blood test. If diarrhea doesn't repeat then it should be an unrelated event and she should simply see a neurologist to better classify her headaches, whether a migraine, tension headache or some other headache and be prescribed preventive treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olsi Taka,
