Suggest Treatment For Lymphedema And Papillomas On Arm

Hi, My mother had undergone breast cancer surgery n treatment 3 years back n now she s suffering from lymphedema in her arm. Apparently she s having papillomas on her arms which are oozing some kind of thick liquid now. Please suggest the possible treatment. Her arm is heavy n very painful sometimes. Hello,

Lymph-edema is common after mastectomy and axillary clearance of lymph nodes after carcinoma breast. I suggest you to consult your treating surgeon for management of lymph-edema by draining the excess fluid from sub-cutaneous tissue.

Papilloma over arms is unlikely to be associated with breast surgery or lymph-edema. Treatment of papilloma is managed by surgical removal followed histopathological examination. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist for management of papilloma.
