Suggest Treatment For Lymphedema
Hi, I am in Austria on vacation. Yesterday I was stung by a wasp in the arm in which I have lymph edema. Today I have moderate swelling and a red spot about and inch and a half round. the spot feels hot. Is this a usual reaction or should I try to see a doctor here. I do speak German. Thanks.

It is not Lymphedema. According to your history and complaint could be Simple insect bite.
1) Apply any analgesic and antiinflammatory cream...Betamethasone and gentamycin combination.
2) use antibiotics preferably Ofloxacin 200 mg PO
twice daily.
3) Tab Levocetrizine 10 mg daily night.
4) cold moppings on affected part will relieve the
swelling and pain.
