Suggest Treatment For Lump On Buttocks

Hi, I have a hard lump slightly to the left of my bum crack, on the actual crack near the top I have a red circular mark, it is painful and uncomfortable to sit, I had a smaller lump at the beginning of October but seemed to settle down but now it's back and bigger, any ideas ???

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is an abscess. If an abscess is not appropriately treated then it can return.

An abscess is a collection of pus. It needs to be incised and drained and antibiotics given.

Your doctor will be able to examine you and determine if this is the diagnosis.

I hope this helps
