Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain When Diagnosed With Gallbladder Stones

I just had an ultrasound today and am told I have gallstones and Dr wants me to see a surgeon tomorrow as my liver numbers from the lab work are extremely high..wasn t told a specific number but she seemed to think this was urgent so she scheduled the apt with the surgeon for tomorrow. I am concerned as I had a radical hysterectomy 1/8/16 and then severe complications with bloodclots shortly afterwards so the thought of possible surgery has got me extremely nervous. Also - I have had lots of lower back pain - could this be related to all this?

Hello,

How old are you? Why did you have a hysterectomy? After blood clots complication, did your doctor prescribe anticoagulant medicine? and jow long? How big is your gallstone?

Most of the gallstones are asymptomatic throughout their life and gallstones are found incidentally. The approach to the management of patients with gallstones depends upon the patients' symptoms, imaging test finding and whether complications are present.

If gallstones lodge in a duct and cause a blockage, the result sign and symptoms are sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the upper right portion of your abdomen, center of your abdomen, just below your breastbone, Back pain, pain in your right shoulder, can be nausea or vomiting.

Your lower back pain could be related to gallstone but you have to make sure your lower back pain is not radiation to you leg that induces to weakness or numbness or history of trauma or lift heavy thing, that is related to the spinal problem.

If it is from you gallstone. Pain control can usually be achieved with NSAID such as Ibuprofen for subsequent attacks that may occur while the patient is waiting for surgery.

Opioids such as morphine, for patients who have contraindications to NSAID or who do not achieve adequate pain relief with NSAIDs but you have to consult with your doctor about this medicine.

Your surgeon will be concern about your anticoagulant medicine for your blood clots if you take it recently.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
