Suggest Treatment For Low Sperm Count For A 72-year-old

Hi, I am 72 years old and have noticed very little sperm upon ejaculation. I take blood pressure and prostate medication the latter being for urination issues, is this an old age problem? Additionally erections are not that common any longer which is a concern. Kind regards Graeme

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion your symptoms are age related.

The amount of semen (the fluid that contains sperm) and sperm motility decrease continually after the 50.

Some suggestion that I can give are:

Exercise and sleep regularly
Reduce stress.
Stop smoking if you already smoke
Avoid excessive alcohol use and drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
