Suggest Treatment For Low Pulse Rate Along With Heart Palpitations
My mom is 58 years old and earlier this year has had a mild stroke where the blood was near her brain stem. Her pulse rate dropped down into the lower 30 s. Since then she has been on cholesterol medicine and taking an aspirin regemin. This weekend I found out that her heart has been fluttering. Should I been concern and have her see a Cardiologist or is some she can talk to her family doctor about? Thanks!

A complete cardiology examination is required to assess whether there is any abnormality in rate or rhythm of heart.
Fluttering of heart is a disorder of rhythm of heart and has to be treated promptly.
A history of stroke predisposes your mother to various other cardiovascular pathologies.
