Suggest Treatment For Low Grade Fever, Chills And Fatigue
This is the 6th day my stomach has felt like it had been kicked. have a low-grade fever, chills and fatigue. The stomach/liver problem is new. hearing my symptoms over the phone my doc had me try Nexium, which i've taken for 3 days and see no relief or change. also Pepto and my trusty Levsin have been of no help. Could it be a flu? otherwise i fear something scary. i'm a normally healthy/active/slim 62 yr old woman. maybe i've consumed too much wine?
Hello,Welcome to the HCM Brief..get liver function test done Detailed...It could be minor stomach infection which can be viral ,for that you need to have light food and drink plenty of water and continue medicines as perscribed by your doctor. You may also try tab.esmoprazole 30 mg before meal. Since you have mentioned about wine,so it can also effect liver so the pain could be because of liver cause too.My opinion would be to relieve the doubt ,get a liver function test done first and discuss further. Hopefully my answer will be helpfull. Regards,Dr.Maheshwari
