Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Memory And Slurred Speech

My husband has a plethora of symptoms. Painful joints ( no arthritis). Out of breath, weak muscles and is often falling down. Has had an increase in memory loss and has suddenly started slurring his speech (which seems to come and go.) He s always exhausted and can barely do anything physical. He recently had lung X-rays (negative results), has been diagnosed with a stiff heart but the Dr isn t treating it...? He was not aware that he was slurring his speech. I m just in need of a direction to investigate.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

An MRI scan is required to rule out possible neurological causes like a mini-stroke.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
